SPC's Paris Baguette Sponsors US-based LPGA Tournament

BusinessKorea - Paris Baguette, a bakery chain owned by South Korea's SPC
Group, enjoyed excellent brand promotion effects as it participated as an
official sponsor in the Mizuho Americas Open, a tournament on the U.S. Women's
Professional Golf (LPGA) tour.
The Mizuho Americas
Open, a newly launched tournament held from June 1 to 4 (local time) at Liberty
National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, attracted a total prize purse of
$2.75 million. Hosted by well-known Korean-American golfer Michelle Wie, seven
of the world's top ten players participated, vying for the title of the
inaugural champion. The competition drew the attention of golf fans worldwide.
Paris Baguette
explained that it sponsored the event to strengthen its local marketing,
increase brand awareness in the U.S., and solidify its global bakery image.
Paris Baguette currently operates about 130 stores in the U.S. and plans to sign additional franchise contracts for 160 more this year. In 2020, it established a local subsidiary in Canada and opened its first store there in March of this year. It aims to have 1,000 stores in the U.S. and North America by 2030.
