Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, a preeminent trade and foreign affairs expert, is well known for his exceptional leadership in spearheading the KORUS FTA. During the meeting, Prime Minister Han will share President Yoon’s policy priorities and deregulation agenda for the business community.

About the Speaker

Prime Minister Han Duck-soo

Mr. Han Duck-soo was appointed as the 48th Prime Minister of South Korea in May 2022. Mr. Han is the fifth person to serve as the Prime Minister for two terms, previously as the 38th Prime Minister under President Roh Moo-hyun from 2007 and 2008. He also served as Minister for Trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 1998 and 2000, and was the Ambassador to the United States from 2009-2012.
