Albert Kim has deep knowledge and a proven track record in developing and implementing global, regional, and local business strategies, having worked in global and Korean biopharmaceutical companies for more than 25 years. He has gained a broad set of leadership experiences in locations all around the world including: the United States, EU, Canada, Brazil, Switzerland, Sweden, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea.

Prior to joining MSD, Albert served as Vice President of the commercial division at Samsung Bioepis, where he was responsible for global commercial strategy and operations. In this role, he led the launch and growth of key product portfolios in the United States and EU. He also has extensive experience in pharma and vaccines at Novartis and was appointed the company’s youngest Country Chief Financial Officer (CFO). During his tenure at Menarini Korea as the inaugural general manager, he successfully established the company and drove organizational transformation.
