​Geannie has been appointed as Chubb Group Senior Country Officer for Korea in 2023 after becoming CEO of LINA Life Insurance in 2020. She is responsible for the overall management, growth and profitability of Chubb business in Korea. In her previous role as COO and Chief of Staff of LINA, she was responsible for all sales channels including its retail telemarketing and B2B general agency and bancassurance, affinity and brand marketing, operations, legal and compliance and human resources. She joined the company in 2011 as head of strategic planning, leading key projects such as setting up the general agency channel now accounting for almost half of the company’s new business sales and purchase of LINA Tower, the first real estate purchase outside US to support the company’s growing business needs. Geannie was also head of new initiatives for the company, including its first healthcare business and membership platform. Prior to joining Cigna, she was responsible for setting up greenfield operation for SunLife Financial in Korea and held various positions in MetLife Korea and its regional HK office.

Geannie is currently a member of the Insurance Committee in American Chamber of Commerce in Korea. She holds Masters in Business Administration from Fuqua School, Duke University, Master of Arts in Simultaneous Interpretations from Hankuk University in Korea and Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Seoul National University in Korea.
