Peter Hildebrand

Governor

소속 Hyatt   General Manager of Grand Hyatt Seoul

I am a seasoned luxury hotel executive with a passionate belief in the power of getting the details right. My initial education in economics and formative years in Sales and Marketing formed my marketing-minded, strategic approach to business and I naturally take ownership of business results, maximizing profitability according to annual targets while taking hotel reputation and long-term success as the overriding aim. I am believer that business out-performance, especially in the hotel business, relies on capturing a team’s enthusiasm, creativity and energy to consistently deliver on a clearly differentiated brand promise. I am a demanding yet fair and inclusive leader with a demonstrated history of building teams across cultures and working in partnership with asset owners to achieve common goals and satisfy all stakeholders. I have found being an active and engaged member of the business and social community is productive and I have used my involvement in business chambers, university alumni groups, tourism and hotel associations etc to benefit the hotels I have represented in the past. Being fit and active is important to me and I enjoy road cycling, sailing and a little golfing among other sports. I also find balance and meaning in my role as husband to my (Jeju born, Seoul raised) wife DukSoon and father to 15 year old daughter Isabella.
