AMCHAM Korea and U.S.-Korea Business Council Lead Digital Economy Business Mission to Seoul

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Korea Business Council and AMCHAM Korea led a digital economy business mission to Seoul, Korea from October 30 to November 1, 2019. The mission was focused on sharing policy priorities that will enable innovation and spur job creation, as well as allow U.S. firms to offer new products and services that increase data protection and digital security in Korea. Including over a dozen leading technology firms, as well as companies in the travel, financial services, manufacturing, and consumer goods sector, the delegation met with key committees of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), and the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
