LG CNS unveils full-stack agentic AI platform,
services
By Lee Gyu-lee,
The Korea Times - LG CNS on Monday unveiled its enterprise-focused agentic
artificial intelligence (AI) platform, AgenticWorks, along with an AI service,
a:xink, designed to help industries accelerate AI transformation.
“LG CNS is
launching a platform and service that will enable companies in Korea and
worldwide to adopt AI with the greatest ease and accuracy,” LG CNS CEO Hyun
Shin-gyoon said during the company’s media event at LG Sciencepark in western
Seoul.
“Agentic AI
goes beyond handling repetitive tasks. It actively analyzes and coordinates
entire workflows, supports decision-making and allows employees to focus on
creative work. This will not only transform the way businesses operate but also
fundamentally change the competitive landscape of industries.”
AgenticWorks
is a full-stack platform that supports the entire lifecycle of agentic AI
services from design and implementation to operation and management. It is
composed of six separate modules: Builder for a coding-based developer, Studio
for non-coding, Knowledge Lake for data preprocessing, Hub for integrating AI
agents, Refiner for industry-specific AI model tuning and Router for automatic
AI model selection and execution. Each module can be deployed selectively
depending on enterprise needs.
The platform
is fully compatible with widely used open-source solutions and industry
standards, allowing companies to not only create their own agents but expand on
its existing framework without rewriting system code.
“This newly
launched agentic AI platform is designed for not only non-AI experts but also
AI specialists who can easily develop, deploy and operate agent-based
services,” Lim Eun-young, the company’s head of generative AI business, said.
“It allows
users to switch between rapidly evolving generative AI models at any time,
compare performance and apply them to existing AI services. The ultimate goal
is to provide customers with AI technology that can be used quickly, safely and
efficiently.”
LG CNS also
introduced the platform’s core service, a:xink, designed to streamline everyday
workplace tasks including scheduling, recording meetings, analyzing emails and
translating.
Key features
include daily briefings that summarize important emails, schedules and tasks,
approval executions, automatic meeting scheduling from summarized emails,
real-time meeting translation and automated minutes. Based on each employee’s
work style and priorities, the service also personalizes its interface and
features.
The service
also offers flexibility to meet diverse enterprise needs and secure on-premise
deployment options, making it a practical and adaptable solution for
businesses.
“Since the
beginning of this year, LG Display has been gradually introducing a:xink,
giving employees daily access to AI-enabled knowledge search, video
conferencing with real-time translation and automated meeting minutes, as well
as email summarization, drafting and AI-supported documenting,” Lee Seung-chan,
the head of digital AI transformation, said.
“A key
advantage is that the service operates entirely within the company’s internal
network, eliminating any risk of data leakage. Compared with subscription-based
alternatives, a:xink has also been customized to reflect specific business
requirements of the employees, making it highly optimized for their work
environment.”
Lee explained
that the service boosted the company’s productivity by more than 10 percent
since its implementation, and he expects it to increase by 30 percent within
the next three years.
