LG CNS becomes Korea’s first SAP Asia-Pacific strategic services partner
By Park Min-ha, The Korea Herald - Korean IT solutions provider LG CNS said Thursday that it has become the first Korean company to join the SAP Asia-Pacific Japan Regional Strategic Services Partner initiative.
This initiative run by US software company SAP identifies companies in the Asia-Pacific region that demonstrate high levels of enterprise resource planning expertise.
LG CNS is now the fourth SAP partner in the region, following Japan’s Fujitsu, ABeam Consulting and Vietnam’s FPT Software.
Under the agreement, LG CNS plans to expand its cloud-based ERP business across the Asia-Pacific region. Since signing a strategic partnership with SAP in Walldorf, Germany, the company has been strengthening its collaboration to drive innovation in Cloud ERP services.
By leveraging its expertise in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and big data, LG CNS aims to upgrade SAP’s existing ERP Central Component to the next-generation Cloud ERP, SAP S/4HANA. The company expects this shift to enhance service efficiency and stability while ensuring seamless operations in an increasingly dynamic business environment.
Additionally, LG CNS has introduced an automotive testing solution called PerfecTwin EPR to identify potential errors during the transition to SAP S/4HANA.
“We are committed to helping our Asia-Pacific clients enhance their business operations with our Cloud ERP solutions,” said Nae Han-shin, senior vice president of LG CNS’s enterprise solutions division. “Through our agile transformation capabilities and solutions, we aim to further enhance customer value.”
Utkarsh Maheshwari, chief partner officer at SAP Asia-Pacific Japan, added, “LG CNS is a key SAP partner and strategic client with a strong competitive edge in the ERP business. We look forward to seeing the company further expand its SAP expertise and drive innovation for customers.”
