Powering Korea’s AI Future: Partnership, Policy, and Scale
DESCRIPTION
As the United States marks the 250th anniversary of its founding, the importance of strong, forward-looking U.S.–Korea cooperation has never been more evident—particularly in artificial intelligence, which is rapidly emerging as a cornerstone of economic growth, national competitiveness, and technological leadership.
The AMCHAM AI Forum 2026 will bring together senior government officials and industry leaders from both Korea and the United States to explore how to advance Korea’s ambition to become a leading global AI hub. Held under the theme “Powering Korea’s AI Future: Partnership, Policy, and Scale,” the half-day forum will serve as a platform for high-level dialogue on strengthening bilateral cooperation and ensuring Korea’s AI ecosystem remains globally competitive.
The program will feature keynote insights on global AI trends, a presentation on Korea’s national AI strategy, and the official launch of the AMCHAM AI Leadership Council, which brings together leading U.S. companies across the AI value chain. It will also include focused sessions on key pillars of the AI ecosystem—regulatory alignment, cross-border data flows, infrastructure and industrial AI adoption, and AI risk management and certification—followed by a leadership panel on the policy and investment priorities needed to accelerate Korea’s AI competitiveness.
