    AMCHAM will be hosting a Special Luncheon with H.E. Ahn Dukgeun, Minister of Trade, Investment and Energy on August 29. Minister Ahn will share his insights regarding key policy priorities to promote U.S.-Korea trade and investment relations and ways to enhance Korea’s competitiveness as regional headquarters in the Asia Pacific.

    About the Speaker

    • H.E. Ahn Dukgeun, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy
      H.E. Ahn Dukgeun was appointed as the 75th Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy. Prior to serving as the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, he was the Minister for Trade of MOTIE from 2022 to 2024. He also served as the Dean of International Affairs at Seoul National University from 2020 to 2022 and the Commissioner of the Korea Trade Commission from 2013 to 2019. H.E. Ahn received a B.A. in International Economics from Seoul National University, Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor.
