AMCHAM Launches Exclusive Young Professionals Program (YPP) to Empower Future Leaders

Fostering the next generation of leaders and experts through exceptional networking opportunities

and avenues for professional development

AMCHAM is committed to strengthening the U.S.-ROK alliance by cultivating the next generation of leaders and experts dedicated to driving global economic advancement. The YPP's core objective is to connect young professionals in their 20s-30s with industry leaders, government dignitaries, and seasoned experts, providing invaluable support in navigating international business complexities.

The YPP serves as both a premier networking forum and a dynamic platform for in-depth discussions on business initiatives and policies impacting AMCHAM members in Korea. Through diverse engagements, YPP members engage in constructive dialogue and contribute insights that shape key discussions on critical business issues.

The program receives robust support from AMCHAM senior leadership and the Board of Governors, ensuring participants receive guidance and mentorship from the highest organizational levels. Harrison Kim, Country Director of Google Korea, served as the inaugural mentor during the kickoff meeting on June 27, with a diverse group of young professionals in attendance.

Matthew Lee, newly appointed Chair of the AMCHAM Young Professional Program, said, “There is a strong desire for aspiring professionals to expand their networks to design their own career path. I believe that the Young Professionals Program will serve as a catalyst for personal and professional growth, enabling individuals to establish themselves in their respective fields and achieve their long-term goals.”

Participants in the YPP will benefit from a diverse array of engagements, including networking events, speaker panels, and community service activities, facilitating meaningful connections and providing insights into the latest industry trends.
