June 11, 2015 (SEOUL) ? The A?merican Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM) is pleased to announce that Mr. James Kim was reappointed today as AMCHAM Chairman by a vote of the AMCHAM Board of Governors. James Kim, who will become the President and COO of GM Korea on June 15, 2015, is the first Korean-American Chairman of AMCHAM and has ably led the organization from January 1, 2014, through the present as the Country Manager of Microsoft Korea. Under this action, James Kim will serve out the rest of his elected term, which goes through the end of 2015.

AMCHAM Korea was founded in 1953, with a broad mandate to encourage the development of investment and trade between the Republic of Korea and the United States. AMCHAM is the largest foreign chamber in Korea with around 800 member companies with diverse interests and substantial participation in the Korean economy.

암참 김 제임스 회장 재선임

2015년 6월 11일 ? 주한미국상공회의소(암참)는 12일 이사회의 투표를 통해 김 제임스 회장을 재선임한다고 발표했다. 6월 15일부터 한국지엠 최고운영책임자(COO) 겸 사장으로 취임하는 김 제임스 회장은 암참의 첫 한국계 미국인 회장으로 지난 2014년 1월 1일부터 암참의 회장직을 맡아왔다. 이에 따라, 김 제임스 회장은 2015년 말까지였던 그의 임기를 채우게 된다. ?
