You are cordially invited to Get to Know Korea 2019, hosted by Invest KOREA (IK), Korea’s investment promotion agency, on Saturday, September 28. Every year, IK invites valued members of Korea’s foreign business and press community along with their families to indulge in the rich history and culture of Korea.

At this year’s event, guests will get to participate in a hands-on pottery making and ceramic painting experience at Heyri Art Village in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

Through this first-hand cultural experience of some of Korea’s traditional art activities, participants are expected to gain a greater sense of the beauty of Korean art, which has been passed down from past to present. Following this experience, participants will have time to witness the coexistence of Korea’s traditional and modern beauty within nature by walking around Heyri Art Village in Paju.

Lastly, participants will take a tour of Odusan Unification Observatory, taking a closer look at the history of the two Koreas on-site, and reflecting on the significance of the division, as well as the value of peace and unification.
