About the Speaker

Paul Choi, Chief Broking Officer, Aon Korea

Paul is Chief Broking Officer of Aon Korea. He oversees major placements, collaboration with Aon Networks incl. Global Broking Centers/Aon Specialties and also manages relationship with insurers & reinsurers and support new product development. Paul has been with Aon 30+ years and also leads various specialty practices across GMIP, Trade Credit, Energy and Construction/Power/Infrastructure.

Samuel Park, Attorney, Aon Korea

Samuel has more than 10 years of legal and insurance experience and is part of Aon’s transaction liability insurance practice with a specific focus on Korea. Prior to joining Aon, Samuel practiced at Bae, Kim & Lee and focused mainly on M&A transactions and foreign investment projects. He also completed his 4-year tenure as a senior legal counsel at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in 2018.

Jay Kim, AVP, Head of Corporate Support, MetLife Korea

Jay Kim is Head of Corporate Support in MetLife Korea since July 2020. He is responsible for establishing and facilitating MetLife Korea strategy via creating a company-wide alignment. His duties include conducting overall business planning, measuring business performance and progress, and identifying risk and opportunities via market intelligence. In order to develop vision of MetLife Korea, he is in charge of leading and supporting major digital initiatives as well. As a Chief of Staff for CEO (Young Rok Song) office, he not only supports CEO but also encourages collaboration among departments. Jay started his first career with MetLife in 2005 as a pricing actuary in Product Development and Planning Team. Until 2008, he worked on market research, risk analysis and product strategy. From 2008, he developed his career via accomplishing new product development, repricing, as well as risk and profit analysis. As a Product Development Team Leader from 2016 to 2020, he got extensive experience in people management leveraging his business expertise and communication skills.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Korea University.
