As the COVID-19 pandemic situation continues to evolve and some businesses begin to transition back to the office, HR managers must endeavor to find ways to effectively engage with employees and boost morale. The AMCHAM Human Resources Committee will host a panel discussion exploring different factors that influence communication with employees.

The discussion/Q&A will explore:
- Various elements that impact employee engagement, such as flexibility, feelings of belonging, growth, and how these elements have changed during the pandemic
- Measures HR managers can take to boost employee engagement and motivation in the post-COVID era
- Concrete best practices or tangible tips from each company

About the Speaker

Hai Kyung Min, Market HR Country Lead, Korea, Google Korea

Hai Kyung Min is the HR leader of Google’s Korea office and passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplaces. Formerly she worked as the People Partner focusing on developing organizations and supporting senior leaders of key functions in Korea. Until moving to the People Operations team within Google, Hai Kyung led Asia’s digital brand creative team at Google, where she used her leadership to lead an international team with great diversity. Before Google, she worked as a free-lance writer for KBS FM’s pop music programs until she moved to the US to transfer her area of expertise from mass media to digital media through her masters study in Telecommunications.

Tabby (Jung-Hyun) Kim, HRO Director for Korea and South East Asia, 3M

Tabby Kim is the HR leader of 3M Korea and South East Asia region and constantly try to provide positive impact to the people and organization with her savvy commercial understanding. Before 3M, she worked for Diageo, UK based premium beverage alcohol company more than two decades as HR professionals covering various HR roles including North Asia (Korea and Japan) HR director, Business partner for entire Demand business in Korea, Asia pacific HR solutions manager based out of Singapore as an assignee, and reward manager in Korea. She is true believer of power of culture and collaboration, potential of each individual’s talent. She is well-known as purpose driven leader who is authentic, a change agent and a great coach to the top management.

Khanzada Temur Khan, Director People & Culture KR, Philip Morris International

Temur is a business professional who currently leads People & Culture function at Philip Morris International’s affiliate in Korea, an affiliate which is at the forefront of company’s vision to deliver a “smoke-free future”. He has accumulated knowledge and insights on a broad range of business matters via his experience in the fields of Business Development, Sales, Supply Chain and Human Resources with international corporations like Caterpillar, Atlas Copco and Philip Morris International. He also served as Board Member for International School of Busan. He specializes in business and organization transformation as well as Leadership Development and Coaching. He is also certified coach of Mindfulness Based Emotional Intelligence Program by Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute.
