As a trusted partner of both the U.S. and Korean governments, AMCHAM Korea places the highest priority on helping members resolve business issues and effectively delivers the collective voice of industry stakeholders through position papers, meetings, and seminars.
AMCHAM’s Advocacy Services
Korean Government Outreach & Engagement
AMCHAM works closely with the Korean Government to promote sustainable U.S.-Korea economic relations. AMCHAM members engage with high-level Korean government representatives through various AMCHAM platforms ranging from public seminars to closed-door roundtable meetings. The AMCHAM Government & Corporate Affairs Team maintains a close relationship with the Korean Government to proactively advocate for priority issues that affect our member companies in Korea.

Consisting of high-level officials from the Korean Government as well as the AMCHAM Board of Governors and premium members, the AMCHAM meetings serve as an important channel to highlight issues and deliver suggestions for improving the business environment in Korea.
US Government Outreach & Engagement
AMCHAM maintains a close relationship with the U.S. government and acts as their trusted source on the ground to provide feedback on how to deepen commercial partnerships between the U.S. and Korea. AMCHAM members have the unique opportunity to interact regularly with the U.S. Embassy Seoul through committee meetings, closed-door meetings and seminars. Throughout the year,AMCHAM regularly hosts key U.S. government officials, including various Administration, Congress, and municipal officials such as mayors and governors.
  • Annual Washington Doorknock Program
    Every year, an AMCHAM delegation visits Washington D.C. to meet with key stakeholders in the U.S., including policymakers in the U.S. Administration and Congress and major think tanks. The Washington Doorknock Program provides a unique opportunity to highlight the importance of the U.S.-Korea economic partnership and share issues in bilateral trade and investment.

    AMCHAM provides ad-hoc advocacy service to its Premium member companies regarding their strategic initiatives.
