June 3rd, 2015 (SEOUL) ? The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM Korea) hosted the “11th AMCHAM CEO Servers’ Night” on June 3rd, 2015 at The Park Ballroom on the 5th floor of the Conrad Seoul. The Partners for the Future Foundation (PFF), the charitable arm of AMCHAM Korea, has hosted this unique event to raise scholarship for Korean university students from unemployed families. On this special night, CEOs from leading multinational companies put on aprons instead of business suits becoming waiters for the event serving the meals and wine to their employees, families, business partners and friends. The staff at Conrad Seoul trained the CEOs on basic serving manners for the event. 

In his welcoming remarks, Jeffery Jones, Chairman of The Partners for the Future Foundation said “Tonight, your small donation can make a huge impact to the society. The Partners for the Future Foundation aims to have a bigger impact through a small amount of money.” Proceeds from this event will go to the PFF to award scholarships to university students in need of financial supports.

On the event, around 130 guests enjoyed a four-course dinner served by their bosses. After the main event, participating CEOs were given various entertaining awards; Preston Draper, President of Costco Korea won the ‘Best Wine Seller Award’ and Eun-Mi Chae, Managing Director of FedEx Korea won the ‘Most Guests Award.’ The ‘Most Energetic CEO Award’ for CEO whose pedometer recorded the highest number went to Eun-Mi Chae and David Pacey, President & General Manager of Grand Hyatt Seoul. Other CEO servers were recognized by various awards including ‘Early Bird Award’, ‘Selfie Challenge Award’ and ‘New Comer’s Award.’ 

The Partners for the Future Foundation was founded in 2000 as the charitable arm of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM Korea) to give back to the Korean society though various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

?암참 최고경영자 서버스 나이트 개최

2015년 6월 3일 ? 주한미국상공회의소(암참)는 6월 3일 콘래드 서울 호텔 파크 볼룸에서 ‘제11회 암참 최고경영자 서버스 나이트’ 행사를 개최했다. 암참 산하 자선단체인 미래의동반자재단은 2003년부터 이 독특한 행사를 통해 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 국내 실업가정의 대학생을 위한 장학금을 조성해왔다. 이번 행사에서 다국적 기업들의 최고경영자들은 비즈니스 정장 대신 앞치마를 두르고 웨이터가 되어 임직원들, 가족, 협력업체 및 친구 등 지인들을 초대하여 저녁 식사와 와인을 서빙했다. 행사를 위해, 최고경영자들은 콘래드 서울 호텔 직원들에게 기본적인 서빙 매너를 교육받았다. ?
