TOPIC
“An Overview of Consular and Visa Services Offered at US Embassy Seoul”

Dear AMCHAM Members,

?
Greetings from the AMCHAM Government & International Affairs Committee.

As many of you are aware, the US embassy is going through a transition, with the new Ambassador and new senior staff. In the next several months, the Government & International Committee will provide opportunities for AMCHAM members to meet with the new senior staff of the US embassy and exchange information on how to work together between the US government and business community in Korea.

On October 27, we will hold the first meeting of this kind with Mr. Robert Powers, the new head of Consular Section, as our guest speaker. He will provide an overview of consular and visa services offered by the embassy and have Q&A session. As many of you and your families and colleagues in your company may have issues of visa or citizens services, this will be a great opportunity to learn more about the embassy’s consular section’s work and policy and ask questions.

We look forward to seeing many of you at this meeting in the morning of October 27, Tuesday.
