Message from the Co-chairs

The cultural idea of work evolves over time, influenced by how the industry creates economic value at any given period of time. Rapid economic growth in Korea was traditionally supported by a workforce that implemented a “collection of tasks” faster and more efficiently. As the business landscape is shifting and millennials represent the mainstream of the workplace, business leaders in Korea need to implement appropriate systems, cultures and processes to empower employees to see beyond tasks and become self-motivated to incorporate new future-ready capabilities, such as problem-solving, agility, authenticity and so forth.

We would like to invite HR leaders and general managers to assess current talent development practices and gaps and to share best practices and tools that can be potentially adopted to strengthen them.
