VENUE

Online

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Can the Millennial, Gen Z, and “Kkondae (꼰대)” Generations co-exist harmoniously in the workplace?
• Do you feel that nobody around you shares your level of commitment to work?
• Do you often offer unsolicited advice to your younger colleagues?
• Do you ask for the age and educational background of every person upon first greeting?

Beware: you are bordering into kkondae territory.

Tension among generations is rising as millennials start making up a significantly larger portion of the global workforce. In Korea, millennials currently comprise 22.2% of the population. With such a major demographic shift comes a sense of urgency to examine how companies can re-align their strategic priorities to maximize the best of each generation. AMCHAM and Morgan Philips have brought together opinion leaders from different generational groups working in multinational companies in Korea for an engaging panel discussion on how to resolve this tension and start bridging the generational gap.
