He has nearly 30 years of insurance, financial, and accounting industry experience. He started his career as a pricing actuary at MetLife Korea and also worked at major accounting firms in Korea including PwC and E&Y. During this period, he led a number of projects in banking, securities, insurance, manufacturing, retail and general services industries. His expertise included external audits, consulting, tax and transaction services.

Young Rok became Finance Controller at MetLife Korea in 2007 and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in 2016.
